The fundamental difference between simultaneous and consecutive interpreting is that simultaneous interpreters work in pairs in special booths equipped with ear-phones and microphones, take turns every 15-20 minutes and provide real time interpreting simultaneous with the speaker.

When a speaker is drafting an address to be translated simultaneously that it should be delivered at a moderate speed. The speech, wherever possible, should not contain highly unusual phrases and intricate expressions. It is particularly relevant at public events that have tight time limits.

We can also provide interpreting services in less common including Oriental languages.

We recommend that orders for simultaneous interpreting should be made 7 business days prior to the event. One hour of a simultaneous interpreter’s work and/or presence is taken as 60 minutes. A simultaneous interpreter’s working day is 5 hours. Any overtime is payable at the hourly rate. The minimum order is five hours.
